David Schellhaas lived in five different states before settling into Maryland and turning five. Yes, as one might guess his father was an Army chaplain. His passion for creativity grew in school with music, drawing and photography; culminating in the earning of his Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Towson University.

After college he dove into the worship ministry at his church, as well as multiple trips supporting churches in the Dominican Republic. This lead to the combination of his existing graphic design career and faith as he began creating for ministries in 2009.

When he and his wife Adriana got married in 2015, he moved to Alexandria, VA. It was then that they became active at NoVA – both as drummers. He also pursued his passions of faith and creativity by joining the staffs at a local organization and another church doing communications, design, photography and video.

David and Adriana are parents to twin six-year-olds and enjoy the outdoors, playing music, travelling and making each other laugh.
