Our Mission & Vision
Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples.
We aspire to be a community that embodies the presence of Jesus Christ for the flourishing of Northern Virginia and the world.
Our Story
Northern Virginia Community Church (NoVA) is a Christ-following community that meets on Sundays at the Waterford Event Center in Springfield, Virginia. While we meet in Springfield, and are known as NoVA, we are composed of people from all over Northern Virginia, D.C. and Maryland and from all walks of life. We believe the image of God is present in every individual. As a result, we strive to be a multiethnic, multicultural, multigenerational, creative community of Jesus-followers, encountering God’s transforming love and presence so we may participate in His work for the sake of the world.
NoVA originally began on October 3rd, 2021 as a combination of three National Community Church campuses. On September 7th. 2025. NoVA Community Church launched as a standalone church. From worshiping together in weekend services to meeting in groups among community during the week, from family connections to local serving opportunities, we seek to love God, love others, and make disciples in every area of life.
Our Values
In a constantly changing world, we are anchored by God’s unchanging truth.
Our values are firmly rooted in the foundation of Scripture.
This is the lens through which we live, lead, and love.

Our Team
Behind every great community are people who care deeply about its mission.
We are stepping into this adventure together as NoVA Community Church's founding staff team. Our team brings decades of combined experience in creating spaces where people can explore faith, build relationships, and find authentic community.
