Giovanny Maria is a dedicated community leader, military veteran, and founding member of NoVA Community Church. He actively serves in Kids Ministry and on the NoVA Elder Team, collaborating closely with NoVA leadership.

​Following an honorable 26-year career in the United States Coast Guard, Giovanny continues his life of public service with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

​Outside of his career and ministry, Giovanny is a passionate barbecue enthusiast, an outdoor cook, and a die-hard New England Patriots fan. Above all, he treasures quality time with his family, whether they are traveling or enjoying outdoor adventures together. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Mariela, and their two children.
