Tamika was born in CA, and grew up in a military family that moved often before graduating high school from Unity Reed in Prince William County, VA. She gave her life to Christ young, serving at youth camps and later leading with the Impact Movement in college, where she earned a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. That foundation of faith and service has carried through decades of ministry alongside Marion, in Boston, at NCC, and now at NoVA, where she's active in Kids, Women's, and Marriage ministries with a heart for prayer and community engagement.

Outside of ministry, Tamika is CEO of Building for Mission, a talent consulting firm helping mission-driven organizations build the people, systems, and culture needed to achieve their vision. She enjoys the transformation that happens when people learn, grow, and find purpose in their work and life. She and Pastor Marion have been married since 2004 and are raising three daughters, Mianna, Makyah, and Mykal. A proud girl mom of athletes, she's fluent in hair, nails, snacks, and back-seat coaching.
